Hop-Heads, your dreams have come true! Hop Ottin’ is Boontling for "hardworking hops," and they’re surely hard at work in this brew. Hop Ottin’ starts with a strong floral aroma, which winds into a deep and complex body. In an intriguing balance, honey-drenched malts coat rich hop undertones. At length, the hops prevail, with a satisfyingly crisp finish. Hop Ottin’ bites like a cankicky bluetail (Hop Ottin’ bites like a rattlesnake looking for a fight.)

Pours a deep golden color with a nice size head for an IPA. Aroma of sweet, floral hops and citrus with a bit of pine. Clean feel in the mouth, but a little bit too much fruit for me. Nice hop taste for sure though. If you like a hoppy IPA but you want some other flavors to balance the the hops this might be a good beer to try.

Tight white head stayed well on a still, hazy copper coloured body. Citrus, pine & malt aroma. Medium bodied. Smooth on the palate and nice & sharp on the back - just how I like it. Woody pine flavours with caramel, bitter pith, citrus, hops & malt hints.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 Alone at home. Clearwater golden colored beer with large white head and lots of carbonation. Floral herby hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hopped bitter dry.

Pours deep golden/amber, fizzy, with a finger of cream head and good sticky lacing. Aroma is resin, caramel and ale malts. Beautiful. Tastes get well the malts, with caramel and honey. Then the hops add bitterness, citrus, resin and pine, but they don’t take over. Very well balanced. Smooth and full bodied, creamy, average carbonation, long bitter finish. Excellent IPA that fits my taste (a good balance between hops and malts).

Very distinctive taste. It is quite bitter and there is a time for this. There are more eloquent IPA's around, but if you feel like you need a punch in the face and a lick of a bear to smoothen it up, this is your beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very sweet aroma of flowers (lilac?) with mead. Brass colour, fine head. Medium, herbalish bitterness, dry, very malty. Solid, easy to drink IPA, but nothing above that

0.3l bottle. Pours amber colour with medium size off white head, murky liquid. Strong aroma of spruce, grapefruit. Medium sweet, highly bitter, no sourness. Medium body, thick feel, long lasting refreshing bitter aftertaste.

The looks of the beer isn’t bad. The beer has quite a dark orange color, with a nice medium cloudiness. It’s still possible to look trough it a bit, but it is far from clear. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of soft slightly off white foam. The foam retention isn’t bad. After a while a nice soft drape of foam still is left. Not bad. The smell of the beer is nice. I smell some clear malts forming a nice base. There is also a nice spicy touch, reminding me a bit of pumpkin ale. Not strong, but a very gentle touch. The hops are nice. They are quite complex. They start off with a more floral aroma, but after a while some nice aromas of both citrus and some spices appear. This pairs very well with the sweet and slightly spicy malt aroma’s. Pretty well balanced smell to. The taste is also very nice. Sweet base of malts, with again that spicy touch and also a sweet honey flavour. Besides are the strong floral hops, with some touches of citrus. Both sweets and bitters are well balanced, with a nice tiny refreshing acidity. Good one. The palate is also nice. Medium body, quite smooth and a touch of creaminess maybe, and a nice medium high carbonation. The finish is nice and contains some nice alcohol and some nice bitter hops. All in all, a nice full IPA, filled with hops but also with an eye for tasty malts. I like it a lot.
