COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
True to its Boontling moniker, Huge Arker is a massive force of nature that detonates on your tongue. After primary fermentation, the beer is aged in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels until it fully matures. The deep mahogany color is evocative of the opulence to follow. Dark luscious aromas of burnished oak mingle with candy sugar, bourbon and hearth-baked bread. The luxurious flavors redolent of honey and molasses are intertwined with the richness of dark chocolate and the ardent warmth of alcohol, underpinned with hints of coffee, vanilla and dark fruits.
ABV from 11% to 13.5% in 2014.

Draft at Growler - Almost black with a light beige head, wispy and lasting. Aroma is heavy in liqueur, bourbon, wood and booze. Medium bodied on the tongue. Its all pretty big in the flavor department though....wood, bourbon barrel, dark raisin, licorice, caramel and syrupy chocolate. Pleasant lingering finish. Boozy but at 13.5% Ill take it. A great finishing beer.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours dark brown, rather light foam. Aroma: Lots of oak, bourbon, barrel, vanilla, coffee, not as sweet as others. Heavy sweet body, boozy, lots of barrel again. Works nicely though. Not as sticky as feared. Good

One of two fancy beers I brought with me to Fiji. A slight bourbon to the aroma. The head disappeared fairly quickly. A bit on the sweeter side but tastes nowhere near 13.5%. A bit disappointed in the flavor, which just wasnt as intense as I expected.
