Smell is strong of pumpkin and other spices, maybe some vanilla. Appearance is solid... decent color, hazy, decent head. Taste is very good.. pumpkin, vanilla, some bourbon.. other spices. Goes down smooth, just a little bit of burn. I like it. Theydon_Bois (19555) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2017
Bottle split at RB Best Hotel Lobby Share, post festival, 31/01/16.
Hazed chestnut brown with a decent beige head.
Nose is candied fruit peel, nutmeg, mixed spice, punokin pie.
Taste carries a subtle bourbon streak, pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, light white peppery spice.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light alocohol quiver.
Decent fun beer for the style. jbethea (46) - Summerfield, Florida, USA - MAR 3, 2017
bitter sweet oakey vanilla squash. Screams with syrupy sweet holiday spice. Never tried a pumpkin beer I loved and I certainly don’t love this, but the subtle notes of wild turkey make it tolerable. anders37 (26657) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017

8.5%ABV. Vegetable ale.
Tapped out dark brown, almost black. 38ºSRM.
Nose has cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, plum preserves, ume, dark cherries and cheery liqueur.
Mouthfeel is juicy. Palate of preserved plum cordial (xuan gan shui). A bit of whisky barrel smoke, vanilla, chocolate, maybe a hint of coffee.
Alcoholic palate and finish.
Overall, for me had whisky flavor profile. Panzuriel (2256) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Appearance: Deep medium brown. Nearly opaque. Thin ring of white bubbles.
Nose: Bourbon boozy, elements of vanilla. Aspects of earthy pumpkin and a bit of spice.
Taste: Earthy aged pumpkin with caramel sweetness. Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg. Boozy with vanilla.
Body: medium to fuller. Soft carbonation. Nearly silky
Parting thoughts: Another bourbon barrel pumpkin. A little more pumpkin and spice than the rest. Less bourbon. Still works.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2016 The aroma is Bourbon barrel and butter with brown sugar and light hops. The appearance is brown and hazy. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall excellent! cheap (5863) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2016
Tap mad mex. Smooth friendly spiced aroma, not up yer snoot. Quite dark. Flat. First impression is a mellow spiced brew that is easy to accept. I’m not one for spiced brew but this is almost acceptable. Spices in the forefront and I almost think there is some pepsin in there. Somewhat balanced. Could not drink two of these but it was ok for a change in taste. Cough medicine effects in the finish. jmgreenuk (9459) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - NOV 9, 2016
Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is pumpkin spice, fruity alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich sweet malt woody spice alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots of woody barrel notes and alcohol with plenty of berry fruits in the background.
