UPDATED: APR 4, 2016 12 FL OZ Bottle. Beautifully designed a cartoon style beer label. Immediately got my attention. Poured in a glass presents pretty orange and hazy color. Medium carbonation produced a nicely formed frotty head with a good lacing. Head is diminishing but leaves a small crown until a last sip. First aroma that appears is a hoppy, citrus smell. Light malt, seems like honey to me. Grapefruit aroma, on the beginning mixed with a pine, stays most of the time. Unfortunately at the end came nasty sweet corn aroma that ruined my all impresion about this beer, that is why I decreased a score for an aroma. Quite thin in a mouthfeel. Medium body. Soft. Goes through a palate very fast. Bit spicy. Very pleasant, bitter finish. Moderate bitter flavor, light sweet. oliodnb (662) - ITALY - OCT 25, 2015
Bottled. Almost clear orange golden, small lacy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some citrus, grassy hops. Taste also starts sweet with some honey before a very good hoppy bitterness, nice and balanced. Medium body, watery texture, medium carbonation. Hamirubi (588) - Waarschoot, BELGIUM - OCT 15, 2015
35.5cl bottle at home (15 X 2015). Amber to orange coloured pale ale, a bit cloudy but vivid, and a most beautiful, tick and creamy white collar. Grassy and malt flavours with some dust welcome the taste. The mouthfeel is quite round and medium bodied. This lovely hopped Anderson Valley Poleeko Pale Ale has keen features of pinewood, herbs and mango. There is some malty dust in the taste too. The ending has that lovely American bitterness, not too long and not that sharp. A great drinker, a genuine American pale ale (APA), and far more fuller bodied than expected. cards04 (2822) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 9, 2015
Pours a golden colour. Aromas of bubblegum and sweet malts. A bit of hop presence but this is mostly about the grains and the malts. Nice. But not overly exciting R2k2 (450) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2015
Lekkere, rustige bittere nasmaak.
A nice, cloudy, orange beer with a firm layer of foam. The aroma’s from lemon, mango and sour apples are picked up by the nose, as soon as the bottle has been opened. It has a subtile bitter taste, together the fruity bit. Like a grapefruit. A calm, nice bitter aftertaste.

This is what I expect when I’m having an APA. Good clean malty flavors lightly hopped not bitter easy to drink. joe19612 (2964) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2015

Aroma is tropical fruit/kiwi, berries and slightly perfumed. The flavor is berries, tropical fruit, slightly odd tart notes, malts and a bitter finish. Vells (1857) - Rīga, LATVIA - AUG 28, 2015
Super simple APA, even bit boring. Moderate to light maltiness, some citrusy hops, grapefruit, bit grassy. Light sweetness with moderate dull bitterness. Drinkable, but one time try
