Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy head. Flowery hops, caramel and fruits in aroma. Strong grassy hoppy flavour with dry hay in finish. Strong hayish hoppy aftertaste. Too much hops for me... Mouthdrying. omhper (25104) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 12, 2004
Bottled. Golden colour, creamy head. Appley nose with some grass. Sweet with light body and lightly rounded mouthfeel. Lightly orangey finish with medium bitterness. I am getting increasingly underwhelmed by Anderson Valley’s products, which I used to love. This beer I both could, and intend to, live without in the future. Bottle at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Hazy gold beer with a little white head. Light dry palate. Lagerish malt. Fresh and dark orange with a trace of generic fruits. Malt turns creamier. Finishes semi dry. Standard stuff but done well.
Bottle at home from my GBBF haul ... golden amber ... big foam head ... light sweet malt ... light fruity hop ... big foam in mouth quite bitter in linger ... easy drinking but mediocre.
