Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

Bosskie (956) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2015
Gilden colour, slightly opaque, weak head. Smell is resin, orange peels and leather. Hint of wood and honey. Taste is bitter watery with a hint of heavy sweetness. Finish is clear and dry. Nice fizz.

Hazy golden/orange color with a very nice thick white head. The aroma and flavor had some burnt grain, citrusy hops, flowery hops, apple, and some nice sweet malts. Soft carbonation, medium body.

aleigator (945) - GERMANY - APR 25, 2014
Sunny yellow color, big white head. Pine, malt, grass, wood. Oily, piny hops, along with sweeter malts, no bitterness, no real aftertaste. Beer gets unusually sweet in the end for an IPA. Carbonation is low, smooth mouthfeel, but the beer is rather boring. Slightly bitter touch at the very end for a moment.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2016 Van de appie. Mooi dik schuim, goude kleur. Ruikt heerlijk fruitig, citrus. Bittere smaak, met een zoetje. Best lekker in het begin, maar wordt minder

bottle, pours a hazy yellow gold, with small white head. Aroma is clover honey, and a soft butterscotch. Flavor is balanced, with a soft hopped finish. Medium bodied and very drinkable. Notes of honey throughout balanced by a soft bitterness. Overall a solid effort, although unremarkable.

ExpendableHero (934) - Florida, USA - SEP 16, 2011
This is the first Anderson Valley to disappoint me. Golden beer, with a white head. Clean hop aroma, not much to it. Taste is pretty straightforward: some floral/herbal hops mixed with mild sour notes. Dry, hoppy finish. Not all that great.

These Anderson Valley brews have become very popular at our local in Clarkston, Mich. They're mostly harmless, fairly decent brews and this one fits that bill - a plain speaking APA, big on hops and relatively naked everywhere else.

tomekboniek (926) - Warsaw, POLAND - FEB 2, 2015
0,33 butelka, złotawa barwa z delikatną pianą pod nalewania. Aromat różowego grejpfruta ze skórką cytryny. W smaku grejpfrut z przyjemną goryczką.

Blonde, weak head. Hoppy classic aroma. Dry hoppiness with an offtaste of something you might find behind your back teeth the day after a meaty dinner... Thin body.

mikkellund42 (922) - DENMARK - APR 24, 2013
Bottle @ Torben Mathews Tasting.Pours clear yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma is light malty, brown sugar, light citric and metallic. Taste is medium sweet. Body is watery with fizzy carbonation. Finish is too short.
