Poleeko Pale Ale is an exceptionally flavorful and well-balanced beer. With a bright, citrus hop profile and mild malt flavors reminiscent of English biscuits, the aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest compliment the brisk, balanced finish to create a truly refined American Pale Ale.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L)
HOPS: Columbus, Nugget, Cascade

Note: Formerly Poleeko Gold Pale Ale.

Mild hoppy aroma and flavor. It's is crisp and refreshing. It goes down smooth but has a good flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Amber with a mostly diminishing head. Some tiny spots of lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with some citrusy hops and leather. Basically a biscuity malt flavor with some hop backing. Thin, slightly watery and fizzy palate. Overall not bad, and would make a decent session beer, but I’m not particularly impressed with this one, especially given the superior Boont amber ale and Hop Ottin IPA offerings of the same brewer.

Majek (860) - Ząbki, POLAND - MAR 12, 2014
Hazy, orange colour with medium and diminishing head. Medium intesive aroma of citrus, pale ale malt with earthy and resinous background. Taste is slightly sweet with medium and lingering bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation. Low to medium body. Overall: not bad one, but nothing special.

Bottle @ Torben Mathews Tasting.Pours clear yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma is light malty, brown sugar, light citric and metallic. Taste is medium sweet. Body is watery with fizzy carbonation. Finish is too short.

yellow as a pollen-plump bumble bee amid sun-drenched daffodils; with paper-white suds and lace. nose is mostly piney hops, with a twist of something melon-like, honeydew perhaps. good carbonation and lightly sweet yellow-cake malts go riding tandem off into the sunset, till the hoppy villanous counterpoint causes them to careen toward a bitter finish. pretty decent flagship pale.

KingpinIPA (841) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 10, 2008
Amber color. Smell of pine, hops, malt, oranges, flowers and candy raisins. Taste of hops, citrus peal, pine, grass, malt, hairspray, oranges and grapefruit.

richlikebeer (838) - Easton, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2005
on tap at jp macgrady’s, body was a pale gold capped with a thin white head giving off a citrusy hoppy nose that was pretty weak. flavor was all hops and lemon peel. pretty much no malts at all, bitter hoppy tail ends what was a pretty boring brew.

22oz bottle. Pours amber orange with decent head. Grassy hop aroma, solidly malty, decent finish.
