Amber colored body beneath a dense white head. Aroma is yeasty with loads of tropical fruit and cookie like malts. Sweet with some cotton candy like notes some earthy notes and marshmallow near the finish. Interesting, quite candy like but not cloyingly sweet. omhper (25541) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 19, 2005
Bottled. Ruby, brief head. Aroma of toffee with a hint of red currant. Fairly sweet with soothing creamy mouthfeel and medium body. The flavours are wrapped in layers of soft cotton, creating a pleasant, but one-dimensional beer. MullMan (1099) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUL 18, 2005
clear dark amber body & a little fizz up the body. light tan creamy and dimply head. aroma is ’nilla wafer and spice, a little soapy sweet malt, like a fig candle. flavor is light toasted sweet malt, body is pretty light. medium carbonation. finish is un poco lemony y dry. didn’t know a cream ale could be this good! Surprisingly light for an amber colored-creme ale. It poured dark/amber-red. Smelt sweet like sugar, baked corn bread. Flavored was subtle. Refreshing with a smooth velvetly texture. Excellent beer from the bear with antlers! fuyajo (229) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 18, 2005
Pours to a medum head, carmel color, not much aroma. Very little taste; slighly malty favor, with a clean finish. Not one of my favs, especially for $8 for a six-pack.

Dark amber with low creamy foam. Sweet aroma of toffeea and strawberries. Sweet creamy flavour of raspberries, butterscotch and cookies. Sweet and clean aftertaste. DocLock (10970) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 14, 2005
Perhaps the darkest cream ale I’ve encountered. Copper hue with aroma of bready malt spice, hopcit, with lemon as the primary citrus element. Tastes full-vodied for a cream or summer ale, with hints of bready malt, lemongrass, hops, spice (black pepper), and fruit. Nice complexity and wonderful balance. I bought a bottle of this at State Line in Elkton, MD, and I hope they have more when I return this weekend. God, It’s great to have relatives around the DE/MD border!! On Tap at Moan and Dove. Very very pleasant cream ale! This was a delightful root beer float -- but better! Strangely worked well as a summer ale, and basically I’m just glad it’s not another "summer wheat!" OldGrowth (3474) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - JUL 9, 2005
Bottle, from Julio’s. Good nose, sweet. Kinda cream soda, little fruity(strawberry), little bready, little grassy. Nice clean orangy brown color, ok head that faded quickly to a ring. Sweet flavors. Malty. Like aromas with a little lemon and caramel. Thinner body, lite creamy mouthfeel, bittersweet, crisp finish. Nice summer brew, a departure from the traditional summer beers out there. 00cobraR (1103) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - JUL 8, 2005
Pours a coppery color with a an off white head. Flavor is creamy with hints of malt. Aroma was kind of sweet and grassy.
