This copper colored ale is a silky, creamy dream. It’s malty, very mildly hopped, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor. A cool beer for the heat, whatever your latitude!

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2015 Thanks to Brian for this bottle. Well, I do have to admit it is creamy tasting. Nice copper color and quite drinkable. Serving: Bottle

Rating #2655 - 2017.08.10 - Nitro at @revolutionyeg. Clear copper-amber pour with a wobbly, creamy nitro pour that settles to a creamy ring. Aroma is potent, quite a bit of vanilla, toffee. Taste is malty sweet vanilla, gingerbread, light and bubbly. This is a pretty good seasonal, and despite the presence of fairly colourful flavours, it remains a balanced crushable summer brew.

Served on Nitro. Deep copperish amber with a creamy ivory head. Smooth bready and lagerish crackery earthy nose with a hint of corn. Clean smooth malty flavor that’s copperish and slightly toasty bready, gently sweet creamy and a kiss of vanilla. Pretty delicate but complexly tasty, more flavor than I would have given it credit for, even from the nose.

Taste: hint of sweet caramel sugars, mild and rather thin and watery. Mild nose of malt. Golden in color, clear, but decent nitro head with some lace. Very lite body. Only a hint of cream soda beer. 5 IBUs

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2017 Nitro draft at Bru Craft. Hazy dark orange copper with a thick foamy beige head. Blood orange. Red beets. Celery. Rutabaga. Molasses. Caramel. Vanilla. Croissants. Hints of something bigger.

Dark golden in appearance with a white head. Creamy texture, vanilla, herbs.

draft that was a caramel clear color with white puffy head that lingered throughout. I got huge caramel notes from start to end and even though balance just not a fan of cream ales. decent offering but not for me.

On tap, poured a clear amber hue w/ huge creamy off-white lasting head and lacing. Sweet malty cereal aromas. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are raw biscuit dough, faint grass, brown sugar and lightly toasted bread. Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"a simple, but tasty summer brew. the summer and winter seasonals are the least complex and easiest to make brews that AV makes, but they are both nice. hardly any hops, light bodied, smooth as hell with a creamy creamy finish and aroma."

Can at home from backlog notes 07/08. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor are very malty, cereal, cookies, some caramel, mild creamy vanilla notes, a general fruity character, not as light as I would expect from a summer beer.
