Bottle. Upon pouring there was an initial rush of bubbles that introduced a large frothy head. The head quickly fell and the bubbles subsided. Sweet aroma, candy like with the qualities of a welcoming pastry shop on an early morning. Touches of light caramel, sweat doughyness, with a mild hint of sour graininess. On the palate it is perfectly smooth, very mild sweetness, balanced by a pleasantly fragranced hop notes. Reminiscent of Winter Solstice "I Liked It!!" Wonderful medium mouth feel, coats the mouth with rich, subtly earthy, doughy sweetness, which is balanced perfectly to create a highly drinkable, and utterly flavorful ale for summertime. "I’m blown away." "Graduation"
Taste: hint of sweet caramel sugars, mild and rather thin and watery. Mild nose of malt. Golden in color, clear, but decent nitro head with some lace. Very lite body. Only a hint of cream soda beer. 5 IBUs Niki1604 (2) - Cayce, South Carolina, USA - JUL 1, 2017 does not count

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2017 Nitro draft at Bru Craft. Hazy dark orange copper with a thick foamy beige head. Blood orange. Red beets. Celery. Rutabaga. Molasses. Caramel. Vanilla. Croissants. Hints of something bigger. hman43 (1586) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2017

draft that was a caramel clear color with white puffy head that lingered throughout. I got huge caramel notes from start to end and even though balance just not a fan of cream ales. decent offering but not for me.

On tap, poured a clear amber hue w/ huge creamy off-white lasting head and lacing. Sweet malty cereal aromas. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are raw biscuit dough, faint grass, brown sugar and lightly toasted bread. Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel.

"a simple, but tasty summer brew. the summer and winter seasonals are the least complex and easiest to make brews that AV makes, but they are both nice. hardly any hops, light bodied, smooth as hell with a creamy creamy finish and aroma."

Can at home from backlog notes 07/08. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor are very malty, cereal, cookies, some caramel, mild creamy vanilla notes, a general fruity character, not as light as I would expect from a summer beer. stevoj (5031) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 1, 2014
