Sweet, smooth and creamy. Like drinking a cream soda. Great rich summer beer.

Dark orange in color, very clear and no head. Mild aromas ... orange marmalade maybe? Lightly sweet and somewhat creamy, subtle spices with mild carbonation and very light body. Cant say it at the top of my list ... but it isn’t bad ... and definitely different. Berserkir (56) - New York, USA - OCT 20, 2008
Bottle pour. Copper body with a fading tan head. Aroma is caramel, malt, light fruits. Flavor is hops, malt, slight caramel, very creamy. bsjay (54) - Oregon, USA - OCT 15, 2009
Very thirst-quenching, nice head. I like a good cream ale and this works well enough. More biscuity than wheaty, which I liked. That said, the lack of any real bitterness or hop character leave a less than beer-like impression. thelandstander (46) - Davis, California, USA - NOV 15, 2005
Bottle. Cloudy copper color with 1/4" head that dissipated very quickly. Faint aroma of malts and doughnuts (or coffee cake -- some breakfast pastry). Flavors I picked up: mild citrus, cream soda, and glazed doughnuts. Creamy with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Decent.

I appreciate a brewery being brave enough to produce the unusual, but I don’t like the taste of this one. Not too sweet or too dry, good texture. Flavor is a citrus, herbal, and slightly flowery. weharvie (40) - USA - AUG 5, 2010
the most unique cream ale i’ve tasted. complex taste, creamy palate, rich copper appearance. A pleasant summer beer. marctacoma (35) - Fircrest, Washington, USA - JUN 6, 2009
Pours light amber, small white head, no lacing.
Aroma is sweet, cream-soda like. The taste is sweet at first, then moves through a variety of flavors, from cola to citrus to a buttery creaminess to sarsparilla.
I really enjoyed this, as I do every year. thehead92 (33) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 21, 2012
This beer looks great coming out of the can/bottle, but what reall gets you is the hay and grassy notes initally. It has a good creamy head that quickly goes away but leaves some nice lace. It is a medium bodied beer; I would say a little thick. good but not quite as Summery as I was expecting, definetly worth a try.
