This copper colored ale is a silky, creamy dream. It’s malty, very mildly hopped, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor. A cool beer for the heat, whatever your latitude!

I’m still not sure if I like it, but it really does taste like a lager mixed with a good cream soda... I’ll have to have another

This is perfect and beautifully summery, the nutty, wholesome flavour lasts forever in the mouth. Amazing caramel and a hint of satsuma make this so wonderful and mellow that I could drink it for ever.

oh dear baby jesus. have had this on draft several times now and i was pleasantly surprised how delicious and creamy and and and awesome this is. I had the first peck on a fresh keg and i got some white chocolate in it. I may have been high (figuratively) but this dranky drank is good and veerrrry easy to drink. yum.

Surprisingly light for an amber colored-creme ale. It poured dark/amber-red. Smelt sweet like sugar, baked corn bread. Flavored was subtle. Refreshing with a smooth velvetly texture. Excellent beer from the bear with antlers!

This is a really nice summer beer. It poured a darker orange color, almost brown with a thin, white head. The flavor was actually creamy, almost coating the mouth, and well balanced. This is definitely a beer I would try again and I truely enjoyed it. Recommended.

Delicious hazy copper cream ale, this seasonal is smooth, light, dry, and very drinkable. The rating is low on ratebeer (big shock) but I notice it’s the 12 highest rated cream ale. So, what does that say about the rating system? or the reviews who dont give this excellent example of this style very high marks. If you haven’t tried it, give it a try. I have to agree with a recent reviewer, though, it’s a bit creamy and sweet for a summer beer..perfect autumn, though.

Draft at Taps, Petaluma. Amber, clear, with low white head. Very cool, very pleasant hoppy, orangey aroma that kinda devolves into a softer creamsicle thing. Vanilla dominates flavor, but a bit of caramel and orange poke through. A bit chalky on the finish

A surprisingly sweet and full-bodied ale. Very modest hops, but a slightly citrusy flavor to go along with the balanced sweetness.

Poured from the 12ox bottle. Pours a nice clear dark copper colour. very nice colour for a summer beer, but thin head and no lacing. Aroma is very mild. Flavour is also very mild, but manly and caramely. Mouth feel is thick and oily. Overall it HAs a great smooth clean flavour for a summer beer. I bought this cream ape for my gf, but she didn’t like it and prefers hippy brewing’s cream ale.

Poured out of a can. Nice frothy head, Deep amber color, with a mild aroma of ice tea and some spice. Tastes of vanilla ice cream, or maybe even a root beer float. Very creamy and delicious! A fabulous summer beer! This would pair well with just about any desert.
