COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This copper colored ale is a silky, creamy dream. It’s malty, very mildly hopped, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor. A cool beer for the heat, whatever your latitude!

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2011 Can. Poured a light brown with a nice yellow hue with a very large off white creamy head that had very nice retention and produced some excellent lacing. The aroma was very malty of a cookie like malt and had a nice dose of a sweet doughy yeast with notes of caramel and dried fruit. It tasted extremely malty, a bit sweet and nice and refreshing with a hint of dried fruit from start to finish with a nice caramel note at the end and left the flavor lingering on the taste buds for a good while. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and very creamy in texture with a nice lively carbonation. Overall I have to say the name is perfect, it is most likely the smoothest, most refreshing summer beer I have ever had.

Taste: hint of sweet caramel sugars, mild and rather thin and watery. Mild nose of malt. Golden in color, clear, but decent nitro head with some lace. Very lite body. Only a hint of cream soda beer. 5 IBUs

draft that was a caramel clear color with white puffy head that lingered throughout. I got huge caramel notes from start to end and even though balance just not a fan of cream ales. decent offering but not for me.

On tap, poured a clear amber hue w/ huge creamy off-white lasting head and lacing. Sweet malty cereal aromas. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are raw biscuit dough, faint grass, brown sugar and lightly toasted bread. Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"a simple, but tasty summer brew. the summer and winter seasonals are the least complex and easiest to make brews that AV makes, but they are both nice. hardly any hops, light bodied, smooth as hell with a creamy creamy finish and aroma."

Can at home from backlog notes 07/08. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor are very malty, cereal, cookies, some caramel, mild creamy vanilla notes, a general fruity character, not as light as I would expect from a summer beer.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours a clear amber with a minimal white head. Aroma is well water and bread dough. Taste is sweet caramel malt, maple syrup and a bit of chocolate syrup. Quite good, but not a cream ale.
