Summer Solstice is a slightly sweet, malty session beer with a creamy mouth feel and clean finish. With hints of caramel in the nose and a touch of spice, its become affectionately known as cream soda for adults. The unique flavors and superior drinkability make for the ultimate refreshment on a hot summer day.

12oz. bottle pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of caramel, dough and spices. Tastes sort of like cream soda and baked beans mixed. Mouthfeel is light but creamy and silky with good carbonation. Strange beer overall definetily unique and different but not in a very good way in my opinion. Tastes odd but refreshing after a warm summer day.

Slightly dark clear copper with a thin ivory cap. Lovely sweet nose of orange creme and sweet ole malt and cereal tones. Sweet cereal tone that also has some orange creamsicle nuances. Plain but semisweet malty and kinda tasty.

This is quite strange. Caramel, citrus, and spices. Its herbaceous and kind of sweet. Theres very little bitterness, yet its not overly sweet. Theres a lot going on and it never quite comes together. An okay summer beer, but even then, I would be far more tempted by other offerings.

It pours amber with orange tinges. The head is white with tinges of orange. It has a grainy sweet aroma, spice and orange. It has a sweet flavor with grain, orange, citrus, and spices. The sweetness flavoring comes throughout the taste experience. It feels a bit syrupy with a moderately light body.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2016 On tap at Evernote in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is earthy spice (maybe some cinnamon), mild maltiness. Taste is mild lemony / herbal bitterness with some crisp carbonation. Not much going on here though.

Bought a six pack of cans a couple weeks ago and letm sit in one of the beer refrigerators until just now. Poured from a can into a tumbler. A nice, clean aroma. A warm, rusted orangee of colorings. Taste-wise: a background of creme soda, citrus sweet and, again, cream soda. Overall, enjoyable.

From draft @ Taps KL. Pours dark amber brown and a thin off white head. Aroma of malts and nuts. Flavors of light malt, walnut, and herbs. Light sweet gum flavors. Interesting but somewhat strange marriage of flavors. Something different but a bit watery. Light sweetness and body.

Amber color with beige head. Aroma is quite malty with a slight hint of fruit acidity reminding a bit of cider. Taste is mainly malty with some fresh baked bread crust and some grains. Its just slightly sweet at first and finishes with a hint of earthy hops. Medium to light body with medium carbonation. Overall its quite interesting style of beer. Malty but not really sweet, easy drinking and light on the palate.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Hazy amber with a small cream head. Aroma of fruits, cola?!, light orange, caramel, nutty notes and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light fizzy carbonation. [21-07-2016]

Rating #1822 - 2015.07.08 - Clear copper-amber pour, that produces a minimal bubbly foam even when poured aggressively. Aroma is potent, quite a bit of vanilla, toffee. Taste is malty sweet vanilla, gingerbread, very light and bubbly. This is a pretty good seasonal, and despite the presence of fairly colourful flavours, it remains a balanced crushable summer brew.

12oz (35.5cl) bottle at home in Amsterdam on 07-Aug-2016 poured into a long stemmed tulip glass. Clear dark amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of malt, spices and floral pine. Medium body and carbonation. Flavour of fruit, spices and toasted malt. Lightly hopped and slightly spicy. Sweetish finish. A little too fruity for my liking.
