COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Complexity. Aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. Our exclusive partnership with Wild Turkey gives Anderson Valley a world class, consistent source of barrelage, allowing our brewers to explore new frontiers in barrel-aged craft beer.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind no visible carbonation opaque black colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty and bourbon. The mildly vinous mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild roasted aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of cocoa roasted malt bourbon dark malt and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

22 oz bomber pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, oak and bourbon. Nice balance on the bourbon, would by it again.

W aromacie głównie drewno i beczka, lekka waniliowa bourbonowa nuta.

Pours an opaque dark as night black. Smells of dark chocolate and traces of espresso. Tastes of rich sweetness with woodsy overtones. Syrup-like body with a great mouth coating finish. I split a bomber with a friend and it was the perfect amount without going over. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Deep brown with a huge light brown head. Toffee, light whiskey, wet oak, tobacco and stone aromas. Has a dry woody whisky flavor that seems boozier than it really is. Has a medium body with a slick feel.

Drank from the bottle, very smooth bourbon barrel Stout. Strong bourbon aroma, tastes stronger than it is, very good drink!

This is a very interesting barrel aged stout. Aroma is very sour, very bretty. Makes it a rather funky affair. Very complex and interesting though, the Bourbon barrel is really very noticeable, also gives nice vanilla note. Medium body. Flavour is malty, quite sweet, lots of vanilla and bourbon flavours. Almost not sour compared to aroma. Not a very long finish, but a roasty vanilla taste remains. Weird but nice!

Bottle shared with Erica and Ben in December. Almost black with light brown head. Quite some bourbon, red berries, light chocolate, chalky, soft spices, vanilla, sweet malts, light roasted malts. Medium sweet, light bitter and sour. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Opaque black with a small, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, dark fruits, vanilla, wood, and bourbon. Taste of roast, vanilla, dark fruits, wood, and light bourbon in the finish.
