Hint of licorice is a bit of a negative for me but not a deal killer. Overall nice flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A unique beer for the price. I am far from a beer expert, but I can't seem to get enough of this stuff. Just a very good blend of spices with only a tiny bite and a lingering finish that keeps me coming back for more. In fact I stock pile as much as I can get a hold of because it is not available most of the year.

Clean deep copper to light copper with a thin head of off-white head of foam. Sweet caramel, light toffee, sweet barley, and very light roast malts all in beautiful harmony. Has a luxurious warming quality that overcomes the soul in a winter welcoming way.

Beamer (162) - Malden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 Bitterzoet winterbier, ondanks het relatief lage alcohol percentage best goede body. Uiteindelijk toch een beetje dun. Bittere smaak verdwijnt snel.
