Floor 42, share a bottle or two! Thanks to Mr Angry Tipple. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Dry creamy dark malts, some dark chocolate and malt roast. Tangy fruits. Light and bitterish finish. Fine but an Impy like many others.

330ml bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black colour with beige head. Head stays quite long time. Bready notes, hints of vanilla, slight sweetness, very slight notes of caramel in the aroma. Slightl sourness, notes of caramel and vanilla at first. Cocoa and chocolate in the middle. Cocoa and chocolate in the end too. Slightly dry finish. Cocoanibs and cocoa in the aftertaste. Rather medium bodied, medium carbonation. Quite well balanced imperial stout.

Thick, bitter stuff with creamy texture but a heavily roasted, heavily bitter, almost oily character. Not terribly enjoyable--could do with a bit more malted roundedness. ABV barely noticeable, fwiw. Lehe does better under its own label (11.2 oz bottle, Tallinn)

July 2017 - Tasting at One Canada Square. Bottle thanks to Mr T. As 'Anderson’s Hannibal', 9.5%. Black with the slightest red hue, foamy brown head. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, earthy, quite spicy and boozy. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is earthy, dark chocolate, spicy, very earthy with some booze showing up. A bit unrefined. (6-4-6-4-14=3.4)

A small taste from a friend (tap) @ Ota Olut! 2017. Pours pitch black with a low tan head. Aroma is roasted malts with some chocolate. Flavor is sweet roasted malts with coffee, dark chocolate and loads of hops. Good.

Aromat czekolady i kawy + delikatna paloność. W smaku to samo. Gęste, oleiste. Alkohol delikatnie piecze w gardło. Nagazowanie niskie. Czarne nieprzejrzyste z niską pianą. Dobre.

gyllenbock (9977) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2017
Bottle bought in Tallinn. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dark malt, coffee and some light dried fruit. The same in the taste. On the sweet sida and with a full body.

BBE 01.09.17. Korkki vähän falskannut 1-2pv aikaisemmin, pullo ja pullon alusta mähmässä. Musta väri, ruskeantumma iso viipyvä stouttimainen vaahto. Tuoksu viettelevä, kahvinen, vaniljaa, nahkaa, makeutta hitunen. Suutuntuma pehmeä, samettinen, alkoholi täysin peitossa, makeutta, pientä liejuisuutta. Jälkifiiliksenä kuivantuhkaisa tahmeus. Aika jepa.

Tap. Dark brown color. Rich aroma: caramel, chocolate, coffee, a little brandy. Sweet taste: coffee and chocolate, cool, warming.
