Golden blonde ale with fresh taste and citrus aroma
Named after a fishing fly used for luring trout, this Blonde Ale has a refreshing pallette due to the use of high quality pale ale malt. By blending different hops at various stages of the brewing process Andwell’s have produced a beautiful beer with a citrus aroma and balanced bitterness.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Nil aroma. Medium gold. Thin white head. Neutral/bland umami/sweetness before developing some bitterness. Light bodied. Watery. Leaves a slick feeling in the mouth. Uninteresting but does go down easily.

SilkTork (5737) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2017
Cask at the Wellington Arms, Southampton, with Ian on the November Southampton pub crawl. Neutral and unremarkable. Not much to say really. Can be drunk, but wonders why you would do it twice.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2014 Cask at The Bell in Waltham st Lawrence. Golden beer with a lot of bitterness. Citrus flavour dies away after a few glugs. Not great.

BeerViking (4781) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2012
Cask at Twickenham Beer Festival 2012, dark gold with clingy white head, a little malt and grassy hop on the nose, then a juicy body with a drying finish and touches of golden fruit and peppery hop. Simple but nicely balanced.
