COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Summer.
NOTE: This is not the same beer as the 4.4% Andwell Gold.

Our new head brewer, Alex, has lovingly created our 4.8% abv Golden IPA using pale ale and caramalt and has hopped it with Citra, Calypso and Centennial to create an intensely fresh hoppy aroma - Enjoy!

Draught at Heathrow Airport. Medium high lasting white fluffy head. Clear yellow golden body. Mild fruity aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.

Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. Slight sweetness but not much of an aroma. Medium gold - super creamy head. Slight bitterness, medium creamy body. Sweet. Banana. The bitterness comes throgh in the finish. Golden Ales tend to be boring but at least a tad interesting.

Golden yellow, lovely little white head. Aroma of citrus and grass. Taste is full, fruity, bittersweet. Tiny bit soapy. Ticks most of the ’IPA’ boxes at a relatively low strength.

BeerSkull (1372) - SWEDEN - AUG 13, 2013
(Cask at "The Pump House" in Brighton, England). Aroma and taste of sweet malt, with some slight hints of caramel, and very distinct aromas of citrus and hops. The finish has a nice long bitterness. A good beer!

Cask at the jail house... Amber... Thin white head... Light lemon nose... Soapy custardy fruits... Not for me

stravale (3145) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - JUL 30, 2013
Cask @ The Haymarket, Edinburgh [270713]

Amber, clear, dense thin white head, good lacing

Aroma - soft citrus hops, soft sweet fruity malt

Taste - bitter hops, some soft citrus, touch floral, pale soft fruity malts, the over bitter finish spoils the taste for me

Palate - Bitter citrus, dry palate, then a strong wave of dry digestive biscuit, long finish, too dry bitter finish, some paracetamol in the tail

Overall - The beer was initially OK, but that very bitter dry linger was getting a bit much after a while

Cask by handpump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow - clear straw coloured, foamy cream head, floral sweet malty aroma, very good lacing, caramel, bit of citrus, moderate carbonation, bittersweet finish

Theydon_Bois (20890) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2012
Cask at the William Webb Ellis (JDW), Twickenham - 15/09/12.
Clear golden with a thin white head. Good lacing follows.
Sweet malts on the nose allied to fresh hops.
A truly fresh and alive tasting beer. Caramel tones, hops, light grapefruit, other tropical fruit notes present.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a clean, fresh finish.
A top notch cask ale!
