6.1%ABV. IPA. Nose has strong overripe and spoiling pineapple. Some scallion or chive funk in the nose as well. Pine. Mouthfeel is full and soapy. Palate has scallion and chive. Biscuits, graham cracker pie crusts and brown wheat toast. Hops are spicy, pine sap and then with a light lingering bitter mainly at the back of the throat. Overall, hop forward with spicy, herbaceousness, with a toasted malty middle that is abbreviated then a strident bitter that is equally brief before fading into a citrus peel like aromatic bitter.

Tap at a bar in downtown LA Pours bright orange hue with a small soapy white head and decent lacing. Nose is pure hops big citric fruit bomb. Flavors show all the hops mentioned and there is even a bit of the Nelson hop crazy notes as well. Long firm bitterness and citric finish. Very solid straight up IPA here. Big grapefruit on the finish with a hint of that Nelson note. G Solid!

Very middle of the road IPA, more like a pale to me, but very drinkable. Color of tinted honey, light khaki head, residual. Aroma is floral, resin, some hibiscus. Tasted exactly as I thought it would. Balanced, blah, pine, blah blah, decent dark grain profile keeps it comfortably above water.

So much better than The Pilsner (from this brewery) I had before this on 27th May 2016 in the Californian sun while on holiday. Good light amber pour with a decent lasting head. Hoppy, oily smooth with a caramel maltiness for a base to help counter the hop bitterness. Very drinkable and moreish.
