Tasting paddle at the brewery as "witbier" (not Eureka). Did they use the wrong yeast? Much more like a hefeweizen with banana esters, fruity, not very dry or tart on the finish. Spices are minimal. Not a bad beer, but really misses the mark for a witbier. FunkyF (1220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 13, 2014
Tapp på LAX. Ljusgul med lite vitt skum. Väldigt liten doft. För kall. Smaken är ganska torr men helt ok. GarrettB (1607) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 7, 2014
April 6th, 2013 - Wit’s are simple, but their parsimony can’t mask any off flavors. Luckily, I disagree with the Ratebeer hive mind on this particular take on the style. Unsurprisingly, Angel City’s Eureka Wit is a light and cloudy brew, and from this dandelion colored liquid comes a strong, if somewhat clumsy face of dry clove and banana notes. Rich pistachio, almost like a pistachio paste, also appears in the nose. Given the nose, the flavor is surprisingly simple, leading with a dry pilsner note and a dry, toasted wheat bread flavor that I like. As a wit I’m unimpressed, but if I treated this as a summer beer with a style related to wit’s this is good drinking for a slightly hot day. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - AUG 31, 2014
Beer Bloggers Conference - San Diego - Easy drinking Wit nice flavor light fruit like flavors with a good Wit finish. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Hazy, icy yellow with a very small white head. Aroma is bitter, spritzy wheat malt. Flavor is carbomated banana and wheat malt. Cold fizzy body. Banana and clove finish. Best beer I’ve found at LAX on draught unless you’re going to Alaska.

Pours no head on a cloudy light straw colored body.
The aroma is mellow fruit, clove and banana.
The taste is balanced with nothing standing out... mildly sweet.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
It’s okay. Not offensive but lacking flavor. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 5, 2014
On tap at LAX. Pours with a hazy yellow hue with a retentive white head. Grainy and somewhat ester aroma, coriander, citrus, cucumber. Somewhat sulfury on the finish. Flavors are grainy, toasty wheat, coriander, maybe a touch of cumin seed? Lightly citrusy. Not offensive at all. Medium bodied with prickly carb. ABUSEDGOAT (2770) - California, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Hazy yellow colored, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is wheat, light bubblegum, clove, straw. Lighter bodied, quite drinkable, not bad. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - DEC 16, 2013
A pretty decent wit. Nothing earth shattering. Could use more of a citrus punch and coriander punch as well. Refreshing though for a light wit. Itzjerm (2955) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - NOV 9, 2013
Nice citrus with creamy. Coriander. Nice head enjoyable. On draft at brewery
