Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2012
(Draught) Pours deep golden to amber with an off-white head. The aroma is herbal and bready up front. Undertones of buttery caramel and grass. Some wooden hints. The flavour is light to medium sweet and near medium bitter. Starts fantastic with chewy malt and fresh grassy/herbal hops. The finish is sadly a bit metallic and light wet cardboard-like. The mouthfeel is creamy and fairly clean (minus the cardboard notes). Soft carbonation. Nice afterbitterness. Medium to full bodied. How can you make a Maibock with a best before date in April? rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 5, 2011
Draught at Haket.
Cloudy amber colour with creamy head. Flowery hop aroma with a feeling of creaminess. Yes, the body is creamy and silky smooth. Bit bready with semi-dark malt features. Butterscotch comes to dominate after the first sip. Hops also show off. Not a bock in my book, not the best batch perhaps? anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2010

typical English ale; not much carb, the nose is weak hops and cake, the feel leaves a little bubbly on the tongue, but it’s not broad, so it’s a bitter/sour experience. the taste follows the nose oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 11, 2010
