(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 7 Oct 2011) Dark reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, fruity, slightly vinous nose with dried fruit, orange and cherries in brandy. Fruity, malty taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, raisins and brown sugar. Soft wood character. Full body, with a certain sweetness and a mild bitterness. Very nice and well balanced.

On tap at SBWF 2011. It poured a clear brown liquid with a minimal head. Wood, oak and yeast on the nose. Similar taste. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice but I think I prefer the ordinary Diabolisk.

[email protected] (thanks for omhper for mentioning this, otherwise I would probably have managed to miss it, though I had been at the stand for a while!). Deep amber to coppery colour witha slight hazy and a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild toffee, some vanilla and mild whiskylike sweetness as well. Flavour is quite much the same with some slight nutty and wooden notes. Very nicely balanced and rather easy to drink.
