I simply love this beer and I am so happy that it is Swedish (we’re not so used to that).

omhper (25128) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2010
Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm. Clear amber, creamy head. Buttery malt with grassy hops atop. Soft, deep and firm malt forms a medum sized body. Creamy and gentle, yet solid. Perfectly balanced grassy spicy bitterness. Absolutely superb malt character, I thought it took something like 500 years of experience to achieve this... Hats off!

Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2011
Sample at SMÖF 2011. Dark brown beer with a small head. A nice aromapalette with vanilla, caramell and fruity. Dried fruits flavor with all the aroma flavors. Lovley beer :-)

TEJA (3056) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 16, 2012
Sampled at SBWF, 2011. Lasting beige head. Clear amber color. Nobel hop aroma. Huge hop taste and a big body to balance. Malty taste that adds to the full beer experience.

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2010
Draught at Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Pours out in shady pale amber colour with rich rocky white head. Solid and deep malty aroma of slightly toasted malts, mild butter, straw and cookies with fresh grassy hops. Medium-bodied with solid and creamy flavours of cookies, straw, mild honey, wet grass and spicy hops. Long medium-bitter finish of spicy and grassy hops on a malty solid yet creamy/sticky foundation of white bread, cookies, mild honey and rye. Probably the best Märzen/October I’ve sampled to date. The malt character is just brilliant!

ninecats (532) - Uddevalla, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2014
Pours clear deep brown/bronze with a big white foam that dissipates slow leaving some lacings. Aroma is rounded malty, with bread, sugar, honey, also some noble hops. Taste is a lovely display of balance, with a nice big malt presence, some grassy, zesty hops but they remain in the background. Medium to big body, medium carbo, oily texture. Great balance, a very fine märzen!

SvanteL (548) - SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2016

gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2010
On tap at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, September 2010. Slightly hazy amber with a small white head. Plesant aroma of malt, cookies and some hops. The same in the taste. A very good Oktoberfestbier, propably the best I have enjoyed. Good work!

rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2010
Draught at Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Amber/ornage colored beer with a creamy offwhite head. Bready aroma, caramel and some toffee. Malty fruity flavor, toffee, creamy notes, balanced bitterness. Another great beert from a very interesting new brewery.

ekstedt (6780) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2011
Bottle (50), ordered from the brewery via Systembolaget. Clear deep amber, medium off-white head. Caramelly and slightly bready malt aroma with some faint grassy hops. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Semi dry with low to medium bitterness. Better than most oktoberfest beers.
