COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Gustav Waesterberg and Jens Skrubbe at Ängö Kvartersbryggeri in Kalmar for the Öland Harvest Festival, initially offered on tap and bottle in an old farm at the village street of Södvik on the northern part of Öland. The beer is dry and fruity at the same time along the lines of the Vallonian farmer’s beer tradition.

TEJA (3392) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 16, 2012
Sampled at SBWF, 2011. Thinn off white head that lingers. Golden color. Phenolic aromas. Sweet belgian taste. Well fermented and small bitterness.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2012 Bottled:
Pours deep golden with a large, fluffy head. Yeast and dough on the nose with some woody notes. Rather thin mouthfeel. Flavour is more yeast and dough, also some wood, hops and pears. Dry finish with some vague chlorine notes in the background.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2013 Difficult to drink. Tastes like a sour lager. Sour in the aroma and sour taste. This beer is not good at all. Weak taste. But I had to pour this beer. Vintage 2012. Follow me @ Kung av öl / King of Beer @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

TheJestersBeer (2431) - SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2012
750ml bottle. Pours a cloudy, deep straw, with a huge white head. Quite spicy aroma, phenolic/yeasty notes, malt, hay, citrus peel, hops, earthy/funky elements, cloves, floral hints. Dry, medium body and bitterness, very lively CO2 - if not very chilled, it serves itself all over the table and floor... Spicy, slightly funky taste, malt, wheat, hops, lemon/orange peel, phenolic yeast notes, cloves, earth, faint caramel. Quite enjoyable, very rustique and farmhouse-like in character. (2012-10-02)

rarbring (2290) - Linköping, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2012
Aroma: Smelling of yeast and spices, a whiff of green apples.
Appearance: A hazy pale straw color, an enourmous high white head that settles fizzily but leaves some lacing.
Taste: Starting with dextrose green fruits, then yeast, spices. Some clean bitterness, but mostly acid notes.
Palate: Exreme carbonation, rather fresh texture, a small body and semi-dry finish.
Overall: The bottled variant seems to have problems with too much and uneven secondary fermentation. Started to fizz out, and almost exploded when opened. Half went down the sewer. In all not worth the price.
Note: Bottle 750 ml. Reviewed 2012-10-04.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 2011). Both the aroma and flavor is tangy and very fruity, with hints of berries, yeast and spices. Very nice refreshing beer!
