UPDATED: DEC 9, 2017 Bottle sent to me by Homer321-- thanks! Sadly this is an infected bottle, severely so: all acetone and burning vinegar. Utterly undrinkable, but I truly appreciate the effort to get me this bottle! ctipping (2325) - Florida, USA - AUG 30, 2017
750 mL bottle. Pours clear golden with a big white head that doesn't last. Smells of guava mostly. A little passion fruit. Mineral and wheat aroma. Tastes wheaty and lemony up front. Passion fruit sourness. Then some guava. Again, it has a mineral and almost salty flavor. Light body with very high carbonation. It's ok. Fruity but not the most interesting berliner profile. It's just fruit and carbonation. BuckeyeBoy (9342) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 13, 2017
750ml bottle pours out hazy pale straw topped with a a ring of a head. Nose is nice huge passion fruit guava sour tartness. Taste is more of the big passion fruit guava tart pucker lots of tiny bubbles. koleminer20 (4385) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - APR 30, 2017
From notes. Enjoyed at Corbet’s house warming on April 23. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a lightly hazy golden yellow color with a thicker white head that vanishes rapidly. The aroma is really good. There is a little malty wheat to it. The fruitiness is fantastic. Tart, crisp, clean, with just a little malt that I’m not too keen on. The citrus and fruitiness is just fantastic. The flavor is incredible. A light malt and heavy fruitiness just dominate. So much tart fruit and a little acidity. Guava and passion fruit really pop and balance out so well. I love it. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a bright carbonation and a lingeringly tart fruity finish. I just love this beer. Damn. Angry Chair is killing it. At the 2017 Super Bowl Bottleshare. Yellow, big foamy head. Smells like mango and guava, white wine and vinegar (in a good way). Taste is very light and fruity, very tropical citrus. I get a lot of mango and passionfruit. White wine and sea water (again, in a good way).

Menacingly wicked album label explains how this is a fruited Berliner, and how it utilized the flavors of passion fruit, guava, and guananana. At this point, it can only go uphill from here.
750 mL bottle.
Pours to a glass a softly diluted sand yellow, small degree clouded, and erecting a fizzy, wine-like head that dissipates within 3 seconds.
Straightway, spent grains and funk becomes apparent on the nose. A touch of chamomile flowers and honey as well. When let out to warm, dried apricot, clementine zest showed with just a smidge of sea salt in tow.
It’s fruity, but not necessarily as fruity as I had been envisioning it to be. Spent wheat and barley grains upon the liquid entering my mouth, dried apricots, dried white peaches, and tannins experienced at the mid-palate, and acid malt, sea salt, green apple skins, and paper pulp met at its finish.
As I had said before but not in the exact words, the fruitiness isn’t a focal point to this beer. It’s there, but so subtle "spent grain and funk" could easily pass off one someone’s notes.
I do get a little of that Tropicana guava juiciness at near-swallow, but it might as well have gone stale because it was only the littlest amount guava-forward, but because I’m milking this for all that it’s worth, teases count. Passion fruit I get more at the beginning of each sip.
Unexpectedly, I very truly have had broadleafed fruits in the past, so I put the guanabana flavor somewhere at the end of 3 Little Birds’ performance. Strawberry/pineapple old Capri-Sun sun-exposed tartness, experienced throughout but was most prominent just after swallow. It’s not even a noticeable, placeable fruitiness but rather a tart-sweetness that has vague implications of tropical underripe fruits in its description.
Could have wanted more of this, but it given me heartburn on the half-bottle mark - not the most profoundly serious heartburn I’ve yet encountered, it was quite containable and only a minor annoyance- but nevertheless I don’t usually like pyrosis developing because of the acidity present in the beer I choose to drink.
Silky smooth, like moisturized skin, and watery thin. leather,
750ml bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color with a smaller sized head. Tropical fruits, citrus, tart wheat, and light acidity. hackobock (4073) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2016
