neongolden (1832) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2017
(Tap sample @ CBC 2016 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a dark beige head. Notes of rich fudgy chocolate, rather heavy cold brew coffee, prominent roast, moderate toffee sweetness, light vanilla, nutty tones, a surprising amount of coconut. Mid to high sweetness counteracted by reasonably high bitterness from coffee and roast malt, long finish of bakers chocolate, brewed coffee, coconut and vanilla. Medium-full bodied, oily, soft carbonation. Really nice stuff, compared to the maple served alongside this was more balanced due to the coffee providing additional bitterness and maybe a touch more complexity. Beautiful stout at a reasonable alcohol level. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2017

From draft at mikkeller and friends. Poured a pitch black colour with a creamy tanned head on top. Nose is just as you would expect with the name, sweet dark bakers chocolate, dark roasted coffee, vanilla Cream, sweet hazlenuts, toffee, light coconut notes aswell. Taste is really sweet nutella chocolate, without getting to overpowered. Incredible stout! Loved it
