This crisp and refreshing cider mixes the sweetness of the apples with a subtle dryness for a balanced cider taste. The fresh apple aroma and slightly sweet, ripe apple flavor make this cider hard to resist.

I consider this the traditional one - great flavor and aroma - favorite of all of the brands I have tasted.

From 16oz can to shaker. Pour is a clear gold, very thin white head. Aroma is strong red apple. Taste is sweet, light body. Finishes very smooth. As far as ciders GI, I think this is top notch. Love the drinkability but also the not overpowering flavor. You know when the Boston Beer company has their hands on a project, it’s not going to disappoint.

12floz/355ml bottle into a lager glass. Served cold. Aroma: Red delicious apples. Pretty fruit-forward. Appearance: Clear, bright gold body. Taste: Red delicious apples. Pretty straightforward. Sweet, but not candy-sweet. Nicely balanced. Palate: Light body. Not sticky and extremely far from being cloying. Overall: Man this cider is pretty nice. I would choose it over most readily-available lagers.

Yellow with no head, so right off not looking good. Aroma is like apple juice and the flavor is about the same with some carbonation feel to it. It has been a long time since I have had a hard cider and I didn’t care for it back then and I can see I still don’t care for it. Got this as part of a sampler 12 pack that was on sale. Just had to try them since it was a good price. Thinking now that it doesn’t matter the price, not really into cider.

Pours a crisp yellow with rapid dissolving white head. Sweet apple aroma. Sweet apple and sugar flavors. Light body and carbonation. Sweet finish.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow, almost no head. Aroma is apple and champagne. Taste is medium sweetness, lightly sour. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is average.

Pours a pale yellow. No head. Tastes, duh, of sweet apples. Very sweet. Not much else to say. I could drink this every now and then.

Pours apple juice color with bubbles rising through. Smell is apples; white wine and cinnamon. Taste is tart and sweet. The finish is dry

355 ml bottle bought at Wellcome Superstore in Sheung Shui.

Piss pale golden yellow colour; Near zero head and residual white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Almost no lacing with slight soft carbonation; Slightly musty and strong tart aroma of apple juice, white wine, sugar and soda; Mid to high sweet taste of apple juice, faint white wine, sugar, wood, light tannic and soda water; Light body, thin slick palate; Mouth feel is very sweet and weak tart apple juice in light musty background. Carbonated soda feel is quite strong. Weak tannic, basically tasted like sweet apple juice; The 5% booze is deceiving, not much going on. WTF… Wet after taste, very easy and sweet to mouth.

Comments: This is really cheap stuff - looks bad, too sweet, too little tartness and dryness, no real apple taste and too little booze. Being labeled as ‘Hard Cider’ is an ominous sign just like any malt liquor being labeled ‘High Gravity Lager’. Strictly for college kids who want to show off their booze creds.

On tap at 508. I can’t imagine this was how it was supposed to taste, but far too sweet and acidic. I could taste my teeth melting out of my head. Will need to re-try from bottle. Overwhelmingly sweet, although flavors and palate were good.
