This crisp and refreshing cider mixes the sweetness of the apples with a subtle dryness for a balanced cider taste. The fresh apple aroma and slightly sweet, ripe apple flavor make this cider hard to resist.

Draught at Berggrens Öltapp, Motala. Clear pale yellow/golden beer with a small offwhite head. Fruity apple aroma, apple peel, grapes, caramel notes. Apple and grape flavor, on the sweet side but also refreshing with clear and present apples.

On tap at Steel Toad, pours a fairly clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out medium sweet crisp green apple, not much else to say. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of crisp green apple, a bit of the apple skins, and medium sweetness throughout the body and finish. Simple, but extremely thirst-quenching and easy to drink, almost like apple juice. Solid stuff for what it is.

On tap. It pours a clear, golden body, still. Apples dominates the aroma completely, with some fruitysweetish notes. Quite sweet in the flavor too, at least it’s a bit sweeter than what I’d prefer. Medium body, semi-dry. Apple finish. Overall, certainly much better than the industrial crap available in Norwegian stores, but I’m still not impressed, it’s too one-dimensional. Well, wouldn’t shy away from repeating it though. 130630

Pours a clear golden color with minimal carbonation. Tart green apple on the nose. Lots of sugar, apple juice, and apple fruitiness. Rather simple and complex. The flavor is highly sweet. Lots of sugar and apple juice notes. Light green apple tartness and some candy notes.

Sampled from bottle. Literally from the bottle do no idea about the appearance. Sweet apple aroma and flavor. Not dry at all. Sweet ripe apple. Soft body and carbonation. I like it though.

Sam Adams cider? Bottle from Half Time. Pours light gold with a few bubbles. Aroma of mixed yellow and green apples. Near med body. It’s a bit sweet, and there’s not quite enough skin aspect to balance that. However, the sugar leaves eventually and the skin bitter stays, so it’s ok. Fresh and clean. But fairly generic.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear golden with small frothy white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is apple and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a sour fruit flavor and nice crisp finish. A good cider from Angry Orchard.

On tap at Old Chicago Westminster poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white bubbles. Aromas of tart app;le, light yeast and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of tart apple and light citrus with a crisp dry tart lingering apple finish.

Bottled, 355ml at a Wetherspoons. Fizzed yellow gold with no head. Ooh this was sweet, cloying perfumey, spurious apple flavour. More alco pop than cider. Pretty bad.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks avrashi. Clear pale golden. Aroma is somewhat sulphury with green apples. Sweetish and slightly tart apples flavor. Medium-bodied. Simple, but quite refreshing.
