Had this whale at Grants Farm, pours a dark amber red with an off white head, the aroma is of sweet malt and caramel with a touch of hops, flavor is much of the same, sweeter front end with some hop touches in the finish, decent mouthfeel, loads better than anything else they had. customer47 (1) - Bunker Hill, Illinois, USA - JUL 25, 2014 does not count
Had samples of this beer at Grant’s Farm in St Louis - very smooth, wanted more but I was driving! VERY disappointed to find out it was not being distributed even locally! It was made for the 60th anniversary of Grant’s of Farm only! Come on, InBev - put this one on the market - you won’t be sorry!! Zymurgeist2 (2246) - Redwood City, California, USA - JUL 11, 2014
On tap at Grant’s Farm as part of the celebration of the farm’s 60th Anniversary. This beer is pretty nice! Aromas of muted bread-like malt with very faint earthy hops detected. Clear light amber with an off-white head that gathers quickly and lingers somewhat long. Taste is restrained malt and slight noble hops. All in all, a clean beer....and not bad for a freebie at Grant’s Park!
