One of the first beer I tried, a little bit sweet on the taste, less bitter, very suitable for summer or tropical country Somebeerguyyyy (3) - - MAR 15, 2016 does not count
Drinking one now after a Bali Hai and Bintang. It’s a standard Indonesian beer. Light lager style with a light malt to bitterness balance. I don’t personally like the hopping in majority of commercial beer and to me this tastes like standard Stella Artois Saaz variety. Another highly processed boring beer where clarifying has removed all traces of goodness but goes down fine enough for the masses ALLOVATE (3063) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 5, 2005

Sunny, sparkling gold with fine carbonation and a fluffy, lasting white crown. Pleasant grassy hop nose, very clean with just a whisp of palest malt. Citrus, lemon burst over some classy, grassy hops. Lightly bitter, crisp and oh so clean. Body is light to delicate with moderate carbonation. Good back-bone of malt, grainy with a hint of sweetish, toasted grains and pale honey. Kills the modern Bintang. Very refreshing, light and balanced. Much different from the beer I tasted many years back.
Another beer to add to the list as I ventured around Bali. Tasted from the bottle and poured into a Pilsner glass. Brilliant pale gold body, with even small carbonation failing to produce a head, bar some lace. Sweet fruit punch aroma, fairly clean. Dry, light bodied and crisp in the mouth. Light honey sweet front, with bitter sides and a medium length bitter swallow. Light in taste and well suited to the climate of Indonesia and Bali, but I still think ’Bintang’ is one up (but that’s a personal thing!).
Well not a bad one, although it’s nothing spectacular... Bad beers in Indonesia, but u can hold to this one... blackisle (2811) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2013
