3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, light bread and fruit. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, bread, light fruit and the finish is slightly dry.
500 ml can. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is dry and grassy with a weird metallic character coming through a little too strongly. Taste is sweet and grainy, but the metallic taste is distracting in the finish and it reqlly detracts from the overall experience. Lighter to medium body and medium carbonation. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - DEC 22, 2016
pours yellow to copper with white fluffy head that quickly disipates. the aroma is bread, malt, grass, yeast, and small amount of green apples. the flavor is grassy, malt, bread and has a finish of metallic. the body is refreshing and light minus the metallic flavor left. Aroma is caramel, honey, medium sweet malts and light sulphur. Taste is light sweet european malts, clove and honey. Pretty basic stuff. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly. BillKismet (4075) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 2, 2016
Copper body with an airy ring of head. Lovely malty nose with rounded out melanoidins. Medium-bodied, minerally, and saturated pleasantly in melanoidin maltiness. Sweet and dry sherry finish with a bit of detracting tinnynesss. bhensonb (15347) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 2, 2016
Can from an Egerer Advent pack from the Woodland CostCo. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is yeasty. I don’t think it’s from spicy hop - tho I think there is spice note. Near med body. Flavor is yeasty/bready with some hop that seems mildly spicy. Noble anyway. This sort of tingles in the mouth. It seems drier and more bitter than many Helles lagers. Pretty nice - tastes better than expected. Bitter is lingering. That’s nice too.

Rating #2277 - 2015.12.24 - Can #24 in the 2015 BeerAdvent Calendar for Costco. Clear, pale yellow pour with a weak white foam that fizzes away quickly. Aroma is sweet malts, grains. Taste is mild floral hops, more sweet malts, and quite grainy on the finish, which is dry, but crisp. Mediocre. Capa (3325) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - SEP 9, 2016
Imagine, if you will, eating barley straight out of the mash tun. Rating over. Oh, it’s clear golden. I wouldn’t drink this again. Koskela (505) - Marysville, California, USA - FEB 21, 2016
A grainy malty aroma accompanied by a floral hop aroma come from this pale yellow crystal clear brew with a white head formed around the edge of the glass. A grainy flavor up front followed by sweetness and a crisp but buttery finish. There's a slight bitterness but not to much. It's light bodies and low carb. kyzr (1578) - Montana, USA - DEC 3, 2015
Yellow clear with nice white head. Nose is sweet malt with a touch of banana. Flavor is full malt with musty grass. Finish is clean.
