Pours murky, dark brown , creamy tan head. Dark malt nose with Belgian yeast. Big sweet flavor with some rich and sugary chocolate, dark fruits, burnt candi sugar.medium bodie, creamy, with fine carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish with further dark malt character, very light roast, some chocolate, suggestions of burnt rubber, low bitterness. decent beer.

(Anosteké Brune Imperial Smout) Stubby bottle 330ml from Saveur Biere, served into a snifter, ABV 8.5% Black colour on the body, tall and thick brown head on top, with very good retention. Aroma of oats, light liquorice, coffee and hints of chocolate. Taste also of oats and liquorice, bitter chocolate, coffee, coffee beans, light roasted malts, coal on the finish and a nice bitterness. Medium thick body, good amount of carbonation, quite sticky on the palate. Very good, nice surprise.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2016 Bottle at home. Looks dark brown, with big, coffee head. The head lasts long. Tastes coffee, light roast. The alcohol is present, but not disturbing. Not as heavy and complex as an Imperial stout, but very fresh. Lacks hops though. I would however have again, if given the chance.

Sporo porterowej palonosci i slodow czekoladowych. Z goryczka srednio jest. Jednak bardzie slodowy RIS niz wytrawny. Nie do konca dobrze zbalansowany. Ale w sumie niezle piwo.

Bottled. More or less black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toffee, liquorice, mild alcohol and some ripe fruitiness. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, some alcohol, ripe fruits and raisins along with some mild yeasty notes.

deep dark brown colour, moderate sized brown head; aroma of chocolate some coffee and maybe vanilla notes, hints of smoke and liqueur; taste is the same - a bit watery taking into account that it is intended to be an imperial stout
