Keg at The Merchant, Liverpool. Black with tan head. There is a rich maltiness to this, smoky with a coffee bitterness. Lots of depth, liquorice with a tarmacadam note. Good stuff. ben4321 (6901) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2016
Draft at the brewery, 5/27/16. Brown pour with a light brown head and light lace. Peat type of smoke over some earth and roast. Finishes somewhat dry. Nice beer.

Tap takeover in Brewdog Clerkenwell 24/3. Black stout with a delicious malty smoky tang. Had a second 1/3 bit later, is this smoked ham? Hang have you ever tasted Frazzles? Quite nice indeed! harrisoni (19726) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2016
On tap at BrewDog Clerkenwell. Black beer lasting tan head. Smoke on the aroma no doubt. Let It Bleed on the stereo. Man this cant be better. Love the smoke. Some milky stout behind it. Its lije a smoked milk stout. Dryish. Austere. Kinda weird. Just a lot of chocolate and smoke. Smoke is bonfire rather than meat. Charcoal

Keg at Anspach & Hobday Brewery, London. A deep brown colour with a foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some smoke, slight hazelnut, wood, a little caramel and subtle dark fruits. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, some hazelnut, slight smoke, dark fruits, a little coffee, caramel and wood. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, smoked, chocolatey bitterness in the finish. A lovely stout, doesn’t taste its strength. Smoked wood, nuts and chocolate play a big part in this. Enjoyed it. mR_fr0g (14241) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2016

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. Light roast in the nose, some definite smoke, a little ham. Medium sweet flavor with sugary dark malts, candied ham, slight roast, very slight butyric acid, berries. Medium bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further sugary dark malts, a little bile, ripe berries, raisins, honey and ham. Not bad overall.
