Can in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Yellow pour. Heavy corn presence in the aroma and palate. Light beer watery mouthfeel. Funny aftertaste. Like a lot of South American brews this is way over carbonated. The bubbles of the added artificial CO2 burns the throat going down. Meh.

Among the many uninspired Brazilian Lager, this is my personal favorite, which goes well with local food. I wouldn't go as far as classifying it as a Pils, but a decent Lager.

Cervejinha (tomei a 300 ml) no limite da água com lúpulo. Sem cheiro, quase sem gosto. Mas mata a sede de uma cervejinha pós trabalho de sexta. Só por isso 2,5.

bartholos (269) - GERMANY - MAY 28, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2016 Bottle. Pale yellow color, clear with a medium frothy head. Light aroma dominated by malts, sugar, grain some dough and caramel,. Taste is sweet with a slight bitterness. Light watery body, high carbonation. Flavor is weak as well, grain and dough, slight floral hint. Completely lacks a finish, taste and flavor become watery and get lost in a sparkling foam. Leaves a light sweet and short aftertaste.

Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2016
For some reason, this is marketed as a premium beer, at a premium price point. Its lousier than regular Antarctica. Straw colour with a frothy head. Aroma is quite grainy. Has some sourness up front, giving way to graininess and finally some sweet malts show up. Just a notch above total awful status.

Cerveja tipo pilsner boa para tomar em quantidade. Não tem nada em especial. É uma cerveja para tomar em churrasco e não para degustação.

Insipid American Lager, pale straw colour, next to no aroma, no body and a tiny hint of bitterness. Alcohol, at 5%, not evident, probably the only saving grace. This used to be a very drinkable lager before the addition of unmalted cereals.
