It is a very dark beer, with an intense torrado flavor. Used Maltas are horneadas until the dark that are similar the one of toasted burned, cacao or coffee. In the Antares Imperial Stout sweet tobacco aromas and raisins of grape with burned and alcoholic notes megre to produce intense bouquet.

Thanks to Fukito. Bottle: Very surpised this is available in Argentina (wine is king there). Complex, full body and strong statement.

Bottle that been sitting in my cellar for at least 4 years! With a BB date of 2012....Pours a clear black with reddish hues and a thick mola head that dissipates quickly. Aromas are malt liquor and milk chocolate with lactic hints. Surprisingly light bodied, chocolatey and very easy drinking. Feels like a double Guiness with its lactic notes. Not the expected disaster I was awaiting.

Bottle from supermercado on Rivadavia in BA. Pours black with thin off-white head. Nose is toffee, caramel, roasted nuts. Flavor is good, with nice toffee notes, some dulce de leche sweetness, some grain. Texture is ok - not as big or syrupy as the world-class impy stouts. Finishes with a bit of leafy hop bitterness lingering on the palate. Decent for the style, great for a 1/2 liter bottle found randomly on the street in BA for about 2.75 USD.

(500ml bottle) Pours a black body with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit, and chocolate. Flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, anise, light ash, grass and caramel with a dry finish.

Es una cerveza de color negro oscuro con una espuma de color beige. Aromas a café,levadura y chocolate. Sabor muy amarga, notas de café y de alcohol. Buena cerveza.

Disappointing for an imperial stout. So many "imperial stouts" in this country and I have yet to find one with any real character or richness you’d expect in this style. Tame, thin, and watery.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2014 Bottle [email protected] Molly Malones’s pub, Buenos Aires, Argentina; served to cold! Dark brown to black body with subtile rubin glimmering. Creamy long lasting beige head. Nose is rich caramel, roasted malt and dried fruit. Light to medium body, not much taste, some caramel and light coffe flavour ands with light, but long herbal hop biternes. Not much imperial.

Bottle sample. Almost clear dark brown color with a small beige head. Dark chocolate nose, coffee, earth and roast. Creamy flavors, espresso, dark coco, light-med bitterness, alcohol well hidden. Somewhat oily, medium bodied, roasty finish, dry, ashy and cool.
