rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 15, 2015
bottle. Pale straw with minimal head. Slight aroma of hops, but I can’t really taste them all all. Just a pretty average cider with reasonable balance of sweet and tart flavors. Not much complexity. Could definitely use a bigger hop addition.

DocLock (11103) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Bomber from Whole Foods Plymouth Meeting. Pours clear gold, champagne colored with minimal head and a requisite champagney level of carbonation, although not quite as much bubbling. Nose was apples, tart, mild hops. Tasted crisp, dry, like a cider/white wine/champagne triple hybrid, and a dry finish. Interesting.

Draft at Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting. Pour a clean gold with no head or lace. Nose of green apples, citrus, pine. Well carbonated, all apple up front with a slight note of hops on the finish. Dry. Not bad for a cider.

Draft sample. Crisp apple, maybe the barest hint of hops (though I may just be imagining that). OK, but nothing really standing out from another above-average cider.

jcos (1855) - Maryland, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Location/Date:Bottle on September 1st, 2012.

Appearance: Pours a gold clear.

Aroma: Aroma is light apple.

Taste: Mostly apple cider, faint alcohol, very faint hops.

Palate:Light body.

Summary: I grabbed this at Norm’s thinking it was a beer when I was quickly grabbing singles, whoops! A normal cider, not too much in the "hops" department.

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Bomber from Beer Run. I believe this is the first time I’ve ever had a hopped cider. Pours a clear amber color with no head. Aroma of tart apples, apple skins, floral and peppery hops. The taste is tart apples and herbal hops. Medium bodied. Interesting, but I can’t say I’m a fan of this concept.

Slipstream (2709) - USA - JAN 29, 2013
Draft at Burp Castle. Now here is something I haven’t tried yet - hopped apple cider. Light and dry, a fairly bland cider mixed with resiny hop flavor. Not bad, but I was hoping for something a little more exciting.
