Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks tomer. Clear amber. Aroma of honey, caramel, some fruity notes and a floral spicy hint. Sweet flavor with honey, light acidic notes, a light floral note and a light alcohol burn in the finish. Pretty syrupy, but smooth. A good mead.

Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours clear deep golden-amber. The nose is sweet, oily, sticky, honeyed fruits, tart tatin, apple pie and vanilla. The taste is smooth, rich, oily, honeyed action, apple pie, warming alcohol and a touch of spice. Medium+ body and oily carbonation. Not bad at all.

18cl bottle shared by Cunningham - thanks a lot! Clear golden without much head. Aroma of honey with wooden and floral notes. Sweet and surprisingly flavourful and feels kind of balanced. Tasty stuff!

Bottle shared at Leighton’s. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Deep amber coloured pour with a small fleeting head,. Aroma is earthy honey, pollen, bark, woody, hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of sweet juicy nutty, caramel, earthy honey and caramel. Palate is full on sweet, sticky, viscous, sticky. Some sweet apple. Toffee, apple crumble.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s. Dark orange, clear, still, no head. Aroma is wafer biscuits, caramel, honey and sugar syrup. Body is medium, smooth, low (or maybe no) carbonation. Taste is sweet (obviously) with honey and wafer. Not too sweet. Has a nice biscuity vibe as well as all the honey. Good.

Bottle, 18cl. Shared by clubgonzo. An almost clear one, dark golden in color and without head or carbonation. Honey, flowers, alcohol and a touch of dried fruits in the aroma. It’s sweet on the palate, full-bodied and lightly warming. Some spiced, woody hints in the flavor, with honey, flowers and a faint touch of dried fruits. Lasting finish. Bottle shared in London - thanks to Daniel! Pours clear, glowing honey-gold with minimal head. A little fruity in the nose, some ripe apples, honey, pear. Big sweet flavor with lots of oily honey, caramel, bread, berries. Full bodied, oily and chewy. Warming finish, lots of gooey honey, apples, light caramel, honeysuckle flowers. Great stuff overall.
