Pours a copper light brown colour. Aroma is boozy with some nail polish remover. Flavour is just so much yum sweetness, goodness, and all that. Really enjoy this sweet honey sticky mead. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 13, 2016
Hazy and tan. Aroma is very nice - rich honey, sticky, with a floral balance. Sweet, just decadent. Brown sugar, agave syrup, super complex sugars. Wow, just a beautiful sweet, complex mead, light spiciness, lupulist (348) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 13, 2016
Pours a deep ruby colour. Aroma of raspberry, with a bit of alcohol heat on the nose. Taste is sweet and viscous, with some real lingering alcohol warmth. Another amazing Polish mead, thanks Alex. andrewje41 (3763) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Batch 866/2, huge thanks to Alex for this treat. Wow. Seriously. Honey sweet booze heavy aroma. Just smelling this makes me want to fall face flat on the floor. I can’t believe how different this tastes to how I expected. Huge honey, brown sugar sweet flavor. Lingering sugar sweet flavor. Like nothing I’ve ever tried before for sure. Damn. Bottle - Vintage 2004ish - Boozy sweet honey. Clear gold. Sweet nice wild honey, tons of heat in the throat, apple and long finish. Great taste.

Bottle from Classic Alex (fiulijn), pours a clear amber with no head. Nose is very hot, with loads of alcohol, treacle toffee, and intense sweetness -- a little paint thinner too. Flavour is intensely complex, with loads of honey syrupy amazingness, treacle toffee, and a little booze. Remarkable wild honey complexity to this. So viscous, but somehow very easy to sip. Phenomenal stuff. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2011

Bright appearance, amber color. The aroma is deep, mature liquor; some wood fruits and spices. Syrupy sweetness, broken by the warming alcohol feeling, yet velvety mouthfeel; very sweet honey flavor, mature, with just a hint of wood and spices, and some fruit freshness. Splendid.
