COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has very rich specific fragrance due to the addition of raspberries and wild rose to nectar honey.

1 litre of Półtorak style mead contains 720 g of natural honey. By comparison, the Dwojniak style of mead contains 610g/L of honey; the Trojniak contains 420g/L and the Czworniak contains 320g/L.

Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is.

Smell of sherry, taste exactly like sherry, but too sweet. If you like mead I guess it’s okay...

Deep, sweet aroma of honey, liqueur, raspberry. Very intense, sweet flavor of honey mixed with some tart/acidic fruity touches, beyond that very mild wood, spice and alcohol. Super full, thick and sticky body. God damn is it tasty.

Sample from bottle. Clear amber colour, no head. Strong aroma of honey, raisins, berries, plums, some red fruits, light alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet, honey, raisins, dried fruits, plums, light toffee, ripe apples. Full body, syrupy, thick, sticky texture, flat carbonation. Warming and sweet fruity finish. Excellent mead, very complex and viscous.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours thick amber. Nose is supersweet, honey, faint raspberries, sherry. Taste is loads of honey, sherry-like sweetness, quite rich and has something going on - not only sweet. In its own unique style it is very nice. Treat it like dessert wine - meaning it goes extremely well with blue cheese!
