4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
My first mead experience. Deep amber color, clear. Complex aroma very similar to port, with butterscotch, flowers, berries. The taste is primarily honey, extremely sweet with hint of metallic in the finish. Even before I read the description I picked out the rose flavor. Alcohol is almost imperceptible. I think by its nature it would be difficult to drink more than a few ounces at a time, and it produced massive cravings for water. With that, and having tried no other meads to date, I would say that it’s hard to imagine much better than this from a mead. (Bottle purchased at Julio’s).
golden chestnut colour. aroma is honey, sweet, alcohol. taste like aroma with a huge afteraste of raisins and walnuts, alcoholsweetness and slight sour touch. pours very dense and syrupy. great "classic" mead, great sipper, lovely! bottle, thanks NightHawk Mesjasz (1521) - Lodz, POLAND - JUL 17, 2017

Flavor of sweet cherries, pears, flowers, molasses, candies, apple pie, hint of herbs. Aftertaste is long and sweet, honey flavor. Very nice. JtanK (552) - Kraków, POLAND - JUN 19, 2017
Deep, sweet aroma of honey, liqueur, raspberry. Very intense, sweet flavor of honey mixed with some tart/acidic fruity touches, beyond that very mild wood, spice and alcohol. Super full, thick and sticky body. God damn is it tasty. DonGregorio (413) - POLAND - JUN 5, 2017
Sample from bottle. Clear amber colour, no head. Strong aroma of honey, raisins, berries, plums, some red fruits, light alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet, honey, raisins, dried fruits, plums, light toffee, ripe apples. Full body, syrupy, thick, sticky texture, flat carbonation. Warming and sweet fruity finish. Excellent mead, very complex and viscous. Noform (86) - Tarnowskie Góry, POLAND - APR 20, 2017

Bottle at Craigs. Pours thick amber. Nose is supersweet, honey, faint raspberries, sherry. Taste is loads of honey, sherry-like sweetness, quite rich and has something going on - not only sweet. In its own unique style it is very nice. Treat it like dessert wine - meaning it goes extremely well with blue cheese! Stuu666 (13435) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 10, 2017
