Lubelski is produced with the addition of wild forest fruits to nectar honey.

One litre of Półtorak mead contains 720 g of natural honey. Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is. It has a subtle though clearly discernible aroma.

Aroma is nuts, frangelico, hazelnut. Taste is the same, a bit too phenolic. Very alcoholic and sweet. Not so complex...

jonas (8280) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2017
Sample. Dark chestnut. Very sweet spicy sugary honey aroma. Medium full body, slick mouthfeel. Intensely sweet without being cloying - fun. Spicy honey finish. Neat.

SinH4 (6568) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2017
Bottle. Deep copper-ruby color with no head. Aroma is ethanol, honey, nutty, but the ethanol note is a bit irritating. Taste is deep honey. Viscous oily mouthfeel, flat. Extremely sweet, but works - not as great as the Dominikansi, Kurpiowski or Jadwiga..
