On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is straw and wheat. Light body, corn and wheat, ok.

Straw pour. Aroma of straw and perfume. Taste follows nose. A bit farmhousey.

On tap @ Apocalypse Brew Works. Pours clear, golden in color with a small white head. Pretty decent beer here, actually. Light, crisp, and easy drinking. Soft malt profile, sort of biscuity with a touch of sweet rolls. Some cracker, grass, and a light lemon rind note. Subtle bitterness to break up the sweetness on the tongue. Maybe just a touch of spicy hops, too.

Draft sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, grass and grain. Taste is malts, grain and yeast.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden color. Thin off-white head. Lots of ropes and dots of lace. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Medium body. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light zest, light sweetness. Good grassy hop, light pepper, light moderate breadiness. Good creamed corn bread aspect to it. Great, tasty, refreshing easy-drinking cream ale! Tasty, refreshing, savory stuff.

on tap @ Apocalypse / Louisville KY --- Clear straw color, nice head that drops slowly to a cover, full lace cover. Taste is like a good European pilsner. Malt and wheat bloom and become grassy in the palate, then floral hops drop in to balance at the finish. That’s it, but boy, is it satisfying.

growler to imperial pint glass. bright yellow color with bright white head. leaving some lacing on the glass. the aroma is simply malts and some minimal hops. what I like about this one is that its dead on style for a cream ale. really not a favorite but truly like this beer. mild to medium malt flavor that is crisp and some bitterness from the hops and finishes with that crispness. like it.

Draft sample. Poured clear golden color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced sweet aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew.

Lexington Fest of Ales. Light body. Bit grassy. Not too much flavor in body. Decent and crisp, if not exciting.

Aroma of hay, light corn and very mild tartness. Appearance is light transparent gold with light white head. Flavor matches the nose with a slightly grassy finish; palace is medium body, creamy texture, bubbly carbonation and abrupt finish. Fine.
