Deathly amounts of hops with some rye, a great choice for your last beer.

2.2
Braudog (6836) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 14, 2017
Draft at HopCat - Lexington. This was a bit of a disappointment, but maybe because I’d a few really, really good beers beforehand. This is gristy (as expected with a rye base) but also has a sugary twist. Unfortunately I found this a bit flat. Too sweet for me for the style. (#6600, 5/12/2017)

rollinsr (818) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - DEC 26, 2016
Pours clear amber witha finger of frothy white head. Aroma is faint with sweet and mildly bitter hops. Flavor is well rounded with balanced fruit and mild hop profile for an IPA. Wow wow wubzy!

2.5
Ernest (7822) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 26, 2016
Draft at Germantown Craft House, Louisville. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot). Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy/watery texture, lively/soft carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Too syrupy sweet to enjoy drinking much of it, and the aroma doesn’t offer anything enticing either. Simple, clunky, and aimless.

On tap at garage bar. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and bitter hops, some pale and caramel malts, a little rye spice, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad but pretty generic.

brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 24, 2015
On tap @ Apocalypse Brew Works. Cloudy orange colored beer with some white foam. Pretty solid hop aroma. Lots of dried pineapple, some watermelon, and grapefruit. Maybe some peach, too. Fair amount of bread and some caramel malts, too. Flavor is a bit too sweet, but there’s a good bit of citrus and tropical fruit hop character to make up for it. Nice melon and tangy grapefruit. Moderate bitterness as well.

Learninbeer (639) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - AUG 22, 2015
The aroma is hops, floral and grass/spruce. Pours a copper/orange with big off-white head, mostly diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter. Not bad, in fact pretty good for a place that appears to just be a hobby - they have a good following and require clean and sanitary food trucks - A nice place to visit!

alexsdad06 (10818) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2015
Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a clear light golden color with very little head. The aroma and flavor have a mild hop, mild rye character, toasted bread, some sweetness, actually pretty boring.

ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 4, 2014
Aroma: Rye bread with a dash of caramel; hops are moderately citrusy. Appearance: Light copper pour with a film of white head. Flavor: Matches the nose, but has a bit more tropical fruit, especially toward the finish; comes off a bit lighter in the hop department than I’d like. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Overall: A nice beer, but could use some amping up to compete with the big boys.

Tmoney99 (14982) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 10, 2013
Draft at APW pub. Poured a clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop and earthy rye aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
