Draught. Orange red / brown color with a white head. Aroma of fruity and malty. Sweet taste. Very nice beer for food. yespr (48968) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2007
From tap at the brewpub (ABV: 5.9%). Pours beautiful red/hazzlenut brown with a dense off-white head. Sweet malty and butterish aroma with a slight spiced note. Flavour holds a soft citric/bitter note above the mild malt base. Not really sweet nor dry, medium. Slight bitterness in the finish, but once again - buttery. Has a note of cardemomme in the far finish. Ungstrup (38986) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2003
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2006 A deep red unclear beer (not filteret) with a beutiful head. It has a slight aroma of fruit. The flavor is very mild with notes of fruit - but no bitterness. It’s very light for a christmas beer of 5.6% abv. joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2005
Draft at the brewpub.
Hazy orange coloured with a small beige head.
Sweet aroma of fruits, malts and hops with spicy notes.
Fruity flavour with notes of hops, yeast and overriped fruits.
Hoppy finish. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2005
(On tap) Nice amber colour with a fine head. Discreet, slightly flowery nose and a light bitterness. Unfortunately this lacks both body and flavour - I expect a lot more from a Christmas brew. 111201

Dark amber color, creamy head. Nice aroma of malt, some hop. Reasonable body structure, malty, some sweetness, caramel, some aromatic hop. Ends with a strong caramel-like bitterness, still some malt. Good blend, just too much caramel and lightly metallic.
Copper-amber color; generous head. Malty aroma, caramel; light. Average body strength, but quite a lot of malt character in the front (drier than suspected), then the caramel and finally a fairly good hopping, as usual from Apollo (maybe a little thin and lacking of character).

Hazy amber color; generous and thick head; wonderful lace. Very nice aroma: hop and fruits (mango, cherries, plums). Good body structure, with a residual sweetness and a good hopping; enough caramel; maybe just too much aggressive (too much carbonation). More caramel and less hop aroma than the Apollo Pilsner in the final, but it’s quite long and strong anyway, also with a long, nice sweet note.
Draught at Sct Clemens. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, sugar candy, malt and spices. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 14, 2007
Druahgt at the brewpub. Amber/orange color, offwhite head. Malty diacetyl aroma, vanilla, creamy and with toffee notes. Malty, fruity flavor, some hops, vanilla and cream. Fruity malty finish. Dedollewaitor (16545) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2009
Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pours clear reddish amber with a small white head. Nose is sweet vienna , with a hint of butter, grain and alcohol. Taste is dry and bitter with notes of grass, grain and perfumy hops. Medium palate. Ends dry. Fresh and fine offering from Apollo!
