turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - NOV 26, 2005
On tap @ the brewpub.
Served in a large pitcher, a golden brown liquid with a small quickly dissipating head. Aroma is sour and a bit malty, and so is the flavour. One-dimensional but not bad as such.

Only on tab at the brewery. Pretty red/brown color and a nice creamy foam. Very rich aroma with notes of vanilla, oak, plum and caramel malt. Smelles like something that would be good with grandmothers chistmas duck. Sadly the taste doesn’t live up to the tempting aroma. It is a bit thin and mildly spiced and tastes mostly of suger and mild hobs. Fresh as a summer beer, not heavy enogh as a christmas beer. The after-taste is good prickly light dry hob and spicy.
