Clear golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with grass, fruits, hay. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Dry, sweet finish. Meeh.

Damn, another one... I’ll have to recheck my entire journey’s worth of notes. Lost rating from my Denmark/Sweden/Norway trip in September 2010. Maybe when I visited it with Papsoe (and potential thanks? :)). Golden body, big head that went away slowly (damn... proud I managed to decipher my shorthand here... BhSlo (FFS Marko, FFS)). Light grainy nose. Nice grainy taste, quite nice graininess, vague hop bitterness. Something else that might be herbal acidity?!?, which I found nice?!? Overall not too special, but a solid beer.

Vighals (4496) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - JUL 11, 2014
Gylden brun tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Malt, frukter og kornlukt. Fyldig pilsner med smak av en del humle samt korn og noe frukt. Medium kullsyre.

Benzai (16764) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 4, 2013
Draught @ Apollo Brewpub. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grainy and decently bitter. Medium carbonation, average body.

Wanja (772) - GERMANY - AUG 21, 2013
On tap (0.15 l as a tester) at Flakhaven brewery, Odense... Clody light golden color, almost invisible. Average head... Mild natural hop aroma of flavors, grain and nature... Too mild, even watery, taste for a Pilsener... Boring ending...

[email protected], Copenhagen. I’ve always missed this one, and this time was very close as well, until it struck me like lightning, I need the pils! Golden colour, mediumsized creamy head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is bready, slightly yeasty with some nice grass and grains as well. Flavour is grassy, floral and some hay along with sweet malts. Balanced and quite Czech like. Felt very fresh.

Bamsen78 (5574) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2013
On tap @ Bryggeriet, Odense. Pours clear pale straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops with a yeasty note. Bitter, hoppy flavour, gradually giving way to yeasty and grainy sweetness. Dryish aftertaste with an acidic note. OK but nothing revolutionary.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of grain, light malt, light hops. Flavor is light sweet and bitter, some metal and citrus in the finish. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
