On tap (0.1 l) at brewpub, Aarhus... Clody yellow-golden color, average head... Odd hop aroma, typically for a pale ale... Boring flavor, unnatural hop aftertaste... Unspecial ending... Skinnyviking (9851) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2013

At Apollo in Copenhagen, Nwe Year Weekend 2010. Golden with a nice head. Yeast and bread aroma, a bit sourish flavor. A boring beer. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 6, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Pale golden color, small head. Hardly no aroma at all. Malty flavor, spicy, mash, bready with some grassy hops. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 5, 2011
On tap. Lightly hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head leaving laces. Sweetish, malty nose - unfortunately also with quite some diacetyl. Medium body, very sweet malt and caramel yet somehow almost balanced by a fairly distinct and bitter hoppiness. 230111 fonefan (53396) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2011

[ As Apollo Rug Ale ].
ABV. 5.8% Hazy medium grey yellow - amber orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, rye, grain, light hoppy, light to moderate yeasty, apollo yeast - grain, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, strange bitter, burnt bitter ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Tap @ Apollo, Cph.
Pours hazy dark yellow with a big, lovely, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light spicy. Not much power to it, though. Medium carbonation, dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has a lot of rye, spicy, some rye bread, sweetness, light peppery, dryness and mild citric tartness and some mild buttery notes that both detract. Long, lingering dryness.
