@ Sct. Clemens. Pitch black with a dark brown head. Absolutely beautiful. Aroma is roasted malt and a bit of smoke. Flavor is rather sweet and light bitter. The finish is sweet and has a lasting roasted bitterness. Could use a bit more body, but certainly the best I’ve ever had from Sct. , pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted barley, coffee. Taste roasted malt, coffee, little hops. Dry mouthfeel, short aftertaste. Easy to drink stout.
250ml draught, 7.2% ABV, at Bryggeriet Apollo, Copenhagen. Tiny. Fawn coloured head over a near black body. Aroma of roasted, almost burnt, black malts. Buttery chocolate malts in flavour with coffee and a slight roasted bitterness to the ending. Foamy in the mouth (shared with Eva at the pub where we also sampled their IPA and pilsner, 28.03.2010). fonefan (50690) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2010

Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark chocolate, toffee, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, choclate sweet, burnt malt and coffee bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Tap @ Apollo. Pours nearly black with a small lasting brown head on top. Vague roast, bread, butter and some cold coffee. Medium and smooth palate. Tasty..
