Draught. Black colour, very small light brown creamy head. Roasty malt, bit of chocolate and butter in aroma. Ok/good mouthfeel. The flavour has a nice roasty maltiness (present not bombastic), with some chocolate, a mild bitterness, light coffee and some berries. Bit dry finish with roasted malt, some berries and light chocolate. thewolf (12635) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2010

Pours deep chestnut brown, almost black. Nice, small, creamy, beige head. Aroma is sweet, some caramel, softly roasted notes and a slight buttery note. Some milky chocolate, perhaps. Highish carbonation, light and drinkable mouthfeel. Flavour is okay, kinda sweet, light roasted midpoint, subdued black currants note and some chocolate. Okay, lingering, roasted aftertaste.
From tap at the brewpub, listed as Apollo bryggeriets jule stout 7.0%. Pours dark brown yet not cloudy. Head is off-white and fully diminished. Dark roasted malt aroma with a mild butterish note. Very soft mouthfeel with almost no carbonation. Flavour is mildly sweet caramel and roasted malt with a nice liqourice note blending in. A coffee note lingers on top of it all. Finish holds a lingering note of the same but is slowly softend out by a chocolate note and a mild bitterness. Well done. FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - APR 19, 2007
Draught at Sct. Clemens. is this really brewed at Sct. Clemens. This is actually a very good beer, not dominated by the usual soapy yeast. henrikb (1263) - Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 2, 2007
Sct Clemens - Black body, very creamy lasting beige head; Nice aroma, typical Sct Clemens notes with soft dark chocolate and a very little smoke added; Big soft carbonation, thin texture, a little bitter; Bitter a little acidy finish, lots of yeast and a little chocolate aromas as well as a little smoke. Very nice beer! HenrikSoegaard (14237) - Randers, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2007

Creamy lightbrown fair mostly deminishing head. Powerfull malty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor with strong coffee notes. Average finish. Watery palate and way too fizzy. Not impressed. Hansen (8595) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2007
