Bottle in Seattle, found in Bogota. Thin foam, dark ruby brown body. Modest dubbel flavors I must admit. Rosy, sweet red malt and some earthy twang. The yeast and ferment though sell this out. Tastes like a Vienna lager with perfect Belgian dubbel malt bill. Creamy, sweet malt syrup. Interesting.

Poured from a bottle. Clear Amber color, full frothy white head. Sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a sweet clove and malt flavor with a medium finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 28, 2014
Bottle thanks to my friend Keith: Poured a caramel brown with a thin tan whispery head. Aroma was fruit and Belgium yeast esters. Taste was sweet malts, doughy yeast, light fruit, and some carbonated burn.

Rulymel (294) - SPAIN - OCT 13, 2014
Decent aproximation to this european typical style. Brown colour with an excesive beige head due to excesive carbonation. Malty aroma, caramel and yeast, but not so intense. Taste is sweet, toasted and caramel malts, some red fruits and raising, little bir spicy. Medium body. Some alcohol at the end. Long and sweet finish

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 26, 2014
(330ml bottle) Pours a clear chestnut body with a moderate beige head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, plum, and dried cherry. Flavor of raisins, dates, Belgian yeast, and cinnamon.

MRMedellin (299) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - MAR 19, 2014
In glass a red coper beer with a unstable head, the aroma has some unpleasant notes coming maybe from the yeast, and revealing se earthy or leather notes, some citric aromas are felt but I think is quite far away from the aromas you should perceive form a dubbel style beer. In palate it has a medium body, with a really bad balance between malt and hops.

A decent dubbel. More or less hits the style and is drinkable. Josh’s bottle from his trip.

solidfunk (8954) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Pours reddish with decent head and lacing. Nice florals, pretty well-done for style. Some malt and slightly sweet finish. Soft carbonation. A little sourness after a few sips on finish. Bottle from Colombia.

Appearance is near spot on. However, alcohol in the aroma is a bit solventy. Dry malty sweetness up front, dry finish.

Bottle from MBM. Deep mahogany with a cream head. Fruit, plum light toast malt. Warming alcohol feel on the palate.
